The UK organic market is forever evolving and had a forecasted growth in 2021 of 12.6% a value of 2.79bn. Consequently, the Mr Organic brand had a desire to reposition itself as its focus moved from solely wholesale into the retail market. It was their belief that in order to look and feel like a ‘bigger brand’ that was popular among foodie consumers, revamping the Mr Organic website was key to achieve this.
Mr Organic outlined their fundamental objectives for their new bespoke website, in terms of branding and functionality to the MonkeyFish team, including:
- Clear User Journey for UK and International Customers
- Mobile First Web Project
- Custom Built Fields for Easy Edits and Additions by the Client
- Fresh and Clean Site to Attract Target Audiences
In a bid to combine the client’s vision with our creativity and clever thinking, the MonkeyFish team initially created homepage concepts, before moving on to core page templates. The iconic branding of Mr Organic was maintained throughout the design and build stage, in an ‘ode’ to the brand’s strong Italian roots. Ensuring the colours used were consistent with Mr Organic’s brand guidelines, MonkeyFish’s creative arm was able to produce a bright and welcoming website, in keeping with the ethos of Mr Organic’s overall brand identity.
Once our development team moved on to the Elementor build stage, the opportunity to provide Mr Organic with their new desired functionalities and visuals became a reality. Whilst maintaining a clean user journey, the team added in features, with easy to follow product information.
In conjunction with design and development, MonkeyFish also conducted content migration from Mr Organic’s previous website, maintaining vital SEO ranking across the site and implementing key web links to their plethora of suppliers and wholesalers.
Post launch the revamped Mr Organic website has had lots to shout about and as the MonkeyFish team knows only too well – data talks!
User engagement has more than doubled across multiple areas of the site, with 62% of total value driven by organic traffic. Moreover, goal conversions have also witnessed a significant increase, alongside mobile and tablet user experiences improving exponentially.
